Eloise Mae Weber

          Eloise Mae Weber, 91, of St. Paul died Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Brookefield Park in St. Paul.

          Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday at Christ Lutheran Church in St. Paul.  Reverend Thomas Clark will officiate.

          Auxiliary services will be presented by Carl Mogensen American Legion Auxiliary Unit #119 of St. Paul.

          Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery in St. Paul.

          Visitation will be held Tuesday, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the church.

          Memorials are suggested to the family’s choice.

          Jacobsen-Greenway Funeral Home in St. Paul is in charge of arrangements.

          Mrs. Weber was born July 6, 1925 in Grand Island to August and Ella (Eggers) Niedfelt.

          She attended country school District 28 south of Grand Island.

          Eloise was united in marriage to Charles Weber on January 21, 1947 at Messiah Lutheran Church in Grand Island.

          The couple lived on a farm near St. Paul.     

          Eloise held several jobs during her lifetime, working at the Uptown Grill in St. Paul, during the Harvest season she was employed by Pioneer Seeds near Doniphan and during the horse racing season, she worked in concessions at Fonner Park.

          Eloise and Charles moved into St. Paul in 2003.  Her husband Charles died in 2004.  Eloise continued to live in St. Paul for the remainder of her life.

          Eloise enjoyed flowers, gardening, polka dances, playing cards and especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

          She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church and the Carl Mogensen American Legion Auxiliary Unit #119 of St. Paul.

          Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Carol Rosenquist of Phillips and Colleen and Gene Rice of St. Paul; four grandchildren and spouses, Amy and Brian Schlichting; Andrea and Brandon Bishop, Brad and Kate Rice and Dustin Rice; six great-grandchildren, Zach Schlichting, James and Jeremiah Bishop, Jaelyn Rice, Jeffrey and Ryan Rice; one brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Betty Niedfelt of Grand Island; and one sister, Elizabeth Hagemeister of Phillips.

          She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles; three infant children, Janet Marie, David Allen and Charles Arthur Weber; a grandson, Jeff Rice; and a brother, Arthur Niedfelt.
