With deepest sympathy to the Steffenhagen family. I have been gone from Dannebrog since 1968 with a visit or two to parents and family each year. My dad was one of Gary's best friends. I think Gary looked up to Dad and always got along good with him. Gary had one of the most tender hearts that I have ever seen. I remember at Dad's funeral, at the Cemetery, Gary came up to me and offered his sympathy to our family. Gary was openly weeping and tears were running down his face. I will never forget that moment and assured him that Dad was going into a better place. I say back to your family it is Gary's turn to be back with his many friends. God will take care of you and your tender and good heart will serve you well.
