Harry R. Lyions, 59, of Wolbach died Saturday, February 6, 2016 at his home.
Private family services will be held.
Memorials are suggested to the family’s choice.
Jacobsen-Greenway Funeral Home in St. Paul is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Lyions was born September 1, 1956 in St. Paul to Thomas and Lucille (Henke) Lyions.
Harry attended rural school District 57 near his home west of Wolbach before attending Wolbach High School where he graduated in 1975.
After his schooling, he worked with his family and the farm and also did farm work for Melvin Mahrt. He continued to farm on the family farm for all of his life. Beside farming he raised cattle for a number of years.
Harry liked to buy International Harvest tractors and restored them to working condition. He also liked dogs, visiting with people and talking about farming, tractors and hunting.
Survivors include three sisters and brothers-in-law, Margaret and Kirk Friesen of St. Libory, Dolly and Robert Vasquez of Grand Prairie, TX and Mary and Randall Wilkinson of Grand Island; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Donald and Kathy Lyions of Grand Island, John and Joanne Lyions of Lancaster, MO, and Floyd Lyions of Wolbach; seven nieces; seven nephews; one great-niece and one great-nephew.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Tom Lyions.
