Setha was born May 23, 1938 to Virgil and Ruby (Holbrook) Millican in Washington, OK.  When she was little her parents moved to Bakersfield, CA.  She graduated from Bakersfield High School in 1957 and then attended Bakersfield Junior College.

On March 2, 1956, Setha married Albert Zimbelman in Bakersfield.  After several moves due to the phone company Albert worked for, the couple settled in Grand Island.  They had two boys, Howard and Dennis who were toddlers when they settled in Nebraska.  Setha was a licensed cosmetologist and taught school at Grand Island Cosmetology.  She later worked for the Grand Island Independent.  In 1985, they moved to Omaha where she worked for U-Haul.

In 1993, Albert and Setha moved to Dannebrog and lived in their home on the river for 20 years.  They attended the Baptist Church in Cairo during this time and became members.  Setha loved Sherman Lake where they own a cabin and spent summers with their children and grandchildren fishing, swimming, boating and gardening.

She painted, crocheted and hand-made many gifts for her friends and family.  Setha worked tirelessly making pocket flags for soldiers going overseas and volunteered countless hours at the Nebraska Veterans Home and VA Hospital.

For the past 5 years, Setha and Albert spent winters in the south, enjoying the sunshine of South Padre Island and Arizona.  Setha loved the beach and brought home hundreds of sea shells to bring the beach home for all her family to enjoy.

She truly was a pillar of faith for her family and friends; always praying, offering a listening ear and a word of encouragement.

She was a lifelong member of the VFW, DAV and the American Legion Auxiliary.  Setha was president of the American Legion Auxiliary #119 in St. Paul, president of District 6, and vice president of the State of Nebraska Chapter.

She is survived by her husband, Albert of St. Paul; two sons and daughters-in-law, Howard and Pam Zimbelman of Lincoln and Dennis and Laurie Zimbelman of Boelus; 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a sister and brother-in-law, MaryAnn and Mark Manda of Bakersfield, CA.

She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother and sister-in-law, Luther and Patty Millican.
