Gail was born July 6, 1929 at Greeley to Floyd and Willihemena (Beck) Jeffres. She grew up and attended school in Greeley and Scotia through the 8th grade. Then worked cleaning and cooking for others.

Gail worked in the Scotia cafe until her marriage to Floyd Wilson on March 8, 1947 in Mankato, KS.

They lived in various places around North Loup and Scotia, finally settling on a farm near Elba, NE in 1956 where they farmed and ran a dairy while raising their 3 children.

In 1981 Gail went to work for Abel's Nursing Home as a nurses' aide for several years and then in Home Health Care for 5 years.

Over the years Gail enjoyed many activities including playing softball, card games, bowling, golfing, dancing and playing Bingo. She also enjoyed trips with her daughter to the Casino to play slots. She was a good seamstress and also good at woodworking, carpentry and was an artist. She was self taught in most everything she did. She always hated school with a passion and said she could learn more by going out and working.

Gail had many health issues throughout her life but always had a strong will to continue doing things and never let it get her down. She was a great mother and teacher for her children. Always a guiding force and an inspiration.
