          Thomas L. Holtz, Sr., 60, of St. Paul died Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at his home in St. Paul.

          Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday at Jacobsen-Greenway Funeral Home in St. Paul.  Reverend Martha Voigt will officiate.

          Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery in St. Paul.

          Memorials are suggested to the family’s choice.

          Mr. Holtz was born September 28, 1956 in Gary, Indiana to Walter and Ruth (Green) Holtz.

          Tom graduated from Fullerton High School in 1974.

          He first worked for his brother Bill as a mechanic and then in steel mills in Indiana.  He then worked in Lincoln in a nursing home as a CNA.

          Tom was united in marriage to Roxanna Edwards on April 20, 1985 in Scotia.  They lived in North Loup until they moved to St. Paul in 1989 except for living in Dallas for a year in 1986 where he worked as an apartment manager.

          Tom was a jack of all trades: a mechanic, carpenter, electrician, plumber, he did it all!

          He loved old cars and spending time with his family.  He was especially proud of his children.

          He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother.  He provided for his family very well for many years.

          Survivors include his wife, Roxanna of St. Paul; children, Thomas, Jr and his wife Melissa, Tishina Marie and her children, Dean and Lena, and Timothy, all of St. Paul; two brothers, Bill Holtz of Hobart, IN and Jack Holtz of Lewisville, TX; two sisters, Virginia Cavanaugh and her husband Ralph of Newark, DE and Mary Maly and Lee of Homer, Alaska; brothers-in-law and spouses, Bud and RaNae Edwards of Grand Island, Darwin and Leslie Edwards of Montana, and Chris Jensen of Cotesfield; a sister-in-law and spouse, Rosalyn and Jerome Palacz of Elba and many nieces and nephews.

          He is preceded in death by his parents.
