Connie J. Pearson, 52, of St. Paul died Saturday, March 6, 2010 at Methodist Hospital in Omaha.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in St. Paul. The Reverend Ray Kosmicki will officiate. A private family inurnment will be held at a later date. Visitation will be held on Thursday, from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the church. At Connie's request, cremation will take place after the funeral service.Memorials are suggested to the family's choice.

Jacobsen-Greenway Funeral Home in St. Paul is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Pearson was born May 21, 1957 in Loup City to Gaylen and Joan (Bonczynski) Wysocki.

Connie was raised in Farwell and attended school in Farwell through the 8 th grade. She attended Elba High School where she graduated in 1976. She worked as a waitress and cook at the Skyline Café© in St. Paul and the Conoco Café© in Grand Island.

Connie was united in marriage to Robert J. Pearson on June 11, 1983 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Elba.

Connie then worked at the Nebraska Veterans' Home as a cook until 1991. She then became an aquatics instructor the YMCA in Grand Island until ill health 6 weeks ago forced her to retire.

She recently donated her hair to Locks of Love.

Connie enjoyed fishing, hunting, baking pies, cooking, gardening, canning and freezing. She also raised geese and guineas.

She was raised in the Catholic Faith.

Survivors include her husband, Robert of St. Paul; her mother, Joan Wysocki of Farwell; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Russell Wysocki of St. Paul, Mike and Gena Wysocki of Emporia, KS and Tim and Robyn Wysocki of St. Paul; five sisters, Christine DiGennaro and her fiancé©e Hal Watson of Beaumont, TX, Vicki and Karl Sweet of Grand Island, Shawn Sandoval of Ingalls, KS, Missy and Russ Spilinek of Elba and Stacy Wysocki and her fiancé©e Todd Eymer of Denver, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bryce and Geri Pearson of Elba; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jim Pearson, Joe and Judy Pearson and family, Lloyd Pearson and his friend Kathy all of Elba, Brenda & Joe Malender and family of Belgrade, Loren, Heather and Hensley Pearson and Jerrol Pearson, and Karla Wysocki all of Elba and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Gaylan; three brothers, Daniel, Roger and Bob Wysocki; and one sister Angela.
