Jon R. Ambrose

March 8, 1952 — January 8, 2021

Jon R. Ambrose, 68, passed away on January 8, 2021, at CHI Health - Lakeside Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska.

To honor Jon’s wishes, his body was cremated. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Howard County Historical Society.

A celebration of his life will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at the Elmwood Cemetery in St. Paul. There will be refreshments at the American Legion Club in St. Paul immediately following the graveside service.

Jon was born to Leonard & Phyllis (Jacobsen) Ambrose of rural St. Paul. He graduated from St. Paul High School in 1970. He continued to live in rural St. Paul on the family acreage.

Jon loved Harley Davidson motorcycles.

Jon is survived by a sister, Barbara, her husband, Larry Ronzzo of Athol, ID; and son, Trinity Landers and his family of Ashton, NE.
