Roland A. Trentman

Roland A. Trentman, 78, of St. Paul, passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at his residence.

A Celebration of his life will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, August 7, 2026, at the United Methodist Church in St. Paul. Graveside Services will be held at the Elmwood Cemetery in St. Paul. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.

He was the son of Alphonse and Mary Jane (Nielsen) Trentman born in Grand Island. He attended St. Libory Catholic School and graduated from St. Paul High in 1966. He then worked for various neighbors for several years. Roland also worked at both livestock sale barns in Grand Island before working for Grand Island Veterinary Clinic while farming in St. Libory with his family. Roland then went to work part time for the State of Nebraska Brand Committee for 30 years.

He married Susan Graus on October 19, 1979. He is survived by his wife, Susan; children Paul and Kimi, Connie and Denyce, Doug and Maria, and Carrie and Kyle; grandchild, Grace; sister Marlene; brother and sister-in-law, Neal and Mary. Roland will be missed by his various nieces and nephews.

Roland was preceded by in death by his parents.
