Darrel was very mechanically inclined. He owned two gas stations in St. Paul and then worked for Gary Ambroze driving the garbage route for St. Paul area residents. Darrel liked to hunt and enjoyed dancing to polka’s when possible. He loved his PBR and Black Cherry Windsor, as well as ice cream, especially chocolate shakes. His friends at Jake’s Bar were very important to him, creating friendships that lasted a lifetime.
