Bob was born Nov. 15, 1944, to Victor and Etta (Gregerson) Pearson in Grand Island. He was raised on the family farm near Cotesfield. He graduated from Elba High School in 1962. He has enjoyed hunting and fishing, air boating and camping. He lived on the family farm for 66 years before moving. Since they moved into St. Paul to live, he has enjoyed tinkering in his garage and especially having coffee with his "Skyline Coffee Buddies."
Robert worked in the sawmills in Oregon after high school, then moved back to Nebraska where he farmed, worked as a mechanic for the Union Pacific, and had his own gravel truck driving for the County Road Department. Bob married Mary Friedrichsen on Oct. 24, 1980, in Greeley. His greatest joy was his family, especially his grandchildren: Delaney, Braegan, Ryker and Truett.
Bob will be missed by his wife, Mary of St. Paul; daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Jeff Watt of St. Paul; sister and brother-in-law, Hazel and Gene Larkin of Lincoln; four grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Victor and Etta, and his son, Gale.
