Warren A. Klein

Warren A. Klein, 67 of Wolbach, died on Friday, October 15, 2021 at his home. 

Private Graveside Services will be held in the Hillside Cemetery in Wolbach.  Jacobsen-Greenway-Dietz Funeral Home in St. Paul is assisting the family.  Memorials are suggested to the family to be designated at a later date.

Warren was born on September 8, 1954 in St. Paul, Nebraska to Arnold and Dorothy (Hinkle) Klein.  He grew up in Wolbach and graduated from Wolbach High School in 1972.  He entered the United States Army in 1973 and was honorably discharged in 1976.

Warren enjoyed the outdoors and was a gun and animal enthusiast. He raised raccoons and chickens and treated them as his pets.  He had names for all of his chickens.  He raised pheasants and quail and then released them into the wild.  He had an appreciation for all aspects of nature and that gave him peace of mind. 

Those left to cherish his memory include his brothers and sisters-in-law, Roger and Susan Klein of Hastings, MN, Danny and Cathy Klein of Genoa, NE, Terry and Diane Klein of Grand Island, Kevin and Ida Klein of St. Libory; sister and brother-in-law, Pam and Ron Switzer of St. Paul; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Warren was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold Klein, Dorothy Nielsen, & Marvin Miller; sisters, Darlene Wolinski and Diann Austin; brothers, Gayland Klein and Ronald Klein; nephew, Nick Klein; and great-niece, Collins Klein.
