I remember Rose Lee when my family and I visited Elba in the 1960s-70s. She was married to Franklin at that time. She was all and did all that Barbara Jean said above. She and Franklin visited my husband, Frank, and me while we lived in Hawaii. Frank was in the USAF and stationed there. They visited Hawaii to see the Cornhuskers play. What a sweet person. God rest her soul. Gerry Novotny

RoseLee was such a sweet person! She was married to my cousin, Franklin, for many years. I always admired her patience & kindness! To say nothing about what a hard worker she was! Wow-she could do everything on the farm-drive the tractor, the large farm truck, round up the animals, feed the chickens, etc etc-& then, clean the house, cook & bake! And then, worked at the public school, too! Wow!! My family always loved her.
My sympathies to her family & friends! She was one of a kind.
Sincerely,
Barb Novotny Humphrey
